Something very special happens in the Warren Township Park every Thursday evening in June, July, and August.  At 7 PM sharp, the park comes alive with the musical sounds of the Valley’s best talent.  For 8 years the Warren Township Lions Club has hosted the Tiltonsville Gazebo Summer Concert Season.  The concerts are free to all and this year will be sponsored in part by Unified Bank.  However, a love offering will still be collected to support the bands and artists who perform.
Warren Township Lions President, Roger Warren, stated, “It has been a pleasure to provide this entertainment and visit with people from all over the Valley who come to our beautiful park to enjoy this wonderful music.”  The concession stand opens at 6 PM before each concert and a variety of food is provided by local clubs and organizations, including The Warren Township Lions, Country Kids 4-H, Girl Scouts, Buckeye Local High School Band, girls’ softball, and more.  All proceeds from the concessions support the non-profit participating groups.
This year’s concert season kicks off June 3rd with the Ron Retzer Trio.  In honor of American Veterans, the trio will perform a medley of patriotic music as well as their normal repertoire.  Veterans will be treated to a free meal sponsored by Unified Bank.  “Always By Your Side, We Are Unified”.
This year’s musical lineup includes:  Ron Retzer Trio, June 3; Sara Hays Band, June 10; Bill Gorby & the Musical Mercenaries, June 17; Poor Man’s Heaven, June 24; Honky Tonk Sweethearts, July 1; Roz & Lynn, July 8; Cabin Fever, July 15; Kevin Dennis-Reflections, July 22; Jim Berze, July 29; Roger Hoard, August 5; Dr,Jones-Kinsey-Dawes, August 12; Polkaholics, August 19; and the season closes with the 40+ Band on August 26.
Last year’s concert season was canceled due to COVID.  Unless unforeseen restrictions are imposed by the CDC or the Ohio Governor’s Office, this year’s concerts will go on as scheduled.  All concerts are held outdoors and no rain venues are available.  Also, remember that safe physical distancing is encouraged.
